M6 GAS MASK BAG

This bag was part of every soldier's issue equipment though popular myth suggests that they carried everything but their gas masks in them. Photographic evidence shows them being used by infantrymen.

The bag is approximately 14" x 6" x 8". The top closes with three lift-a-dot fasteners. There is a 1-1/2" wide adjustable shoulder strap attached to the top rear corners of the bag and a 1/2" wide adjustable waist strap attached at the bottom back corners. The bags come in both khaki and OD #7.

You don't necessarily need the mask. Expect to pay more for khaki colored bags than OD #7 ones. Either color is fine for an ETO infantry impression.
